Finding a plumber or heating engineer you can trust to take care of your rental property isn't always easy, but its important to make sure you’re staying in line with regulations, a landlord certificate is required every 12 months for your gas boiler and for any other gas appliances in the property, such as gas hob etc. You also need to ensure that you install a carbon monoxide alarm in rooms with appliances that burn fuel, e.g. gas boiler.
